•   What is Sno-Isle Tech?
»

A public school that prepares high school students to be successful in a high-tech work force and/or go on to further education and training.

 
•   How do students apply for admission?
»

Get an application from your high school counselor or directly from Sno-Isle.

» Complete the application and attach a copy of your most recent high school transcript.
» Give the completed application to your high school counselor who will send it to Sno-Isle.
» An interview will be scheduled with the program instructor.
»
Enrollment interviews for the 2009-10 school year will be conducted March 4 and 5, 2009. Make-up enrollment interviews will be conducted March 11 and 12, 2009. Contact your sending school counselor or Sno-Isle Tech for more details.
 
•   Who is eligible to attend Sno-Isle?
»

Juniors and Seniors from member districts in Snohomish, and Island counties.

» Anyone age 16 to 20 who has not received a high school diploma.
» Anyone age 16 to 20 who has earned his/her GED.
» Students who know what type of technical training they want.
 
•   What is the cost to attend Sno-Isle?
»

There is no cost for students of member districts.

» Students from non-member districts are served on a space available basis and must pay an additional fee.
» Some programs have a lab fee or require specialized clothing.
» The Cosmetology program has additional fees beyond what is paid by Sno-Isle.
 
•   When do students attend class?
»

The classes are part of the regular school calendar and school day.

» Students either attend a morning or afternoon class.
» Morning class is in session from 7:55am to 10:25am. Afternoon class is in session from 11:10am to 1:40pm.
 
•   What about grades and credit?
»

Grades will be assigned by the Skills Tech instructor and credit will be given by the sending high school.

 
•   Where is Sno-Isle located and how do students get there?
»

Sno-Isle is located at 9001 Airport Road in Everett, WA across from Paine Field and just south of the Everett Boeing Plant.

» Students are provided roundtrip transportation by their school district.
