Job Description


Assists service technicians in overhauling and maintaining differentials used in everyday and specialty vehicles.  Keeps shop clean & organized.  May assemble multiple types of positraction units.


Disassembles, inspects and cleans differential parts.
Assists service technicians with prep-work of differentials.  Cleans housings for mechanics on customer vehicles.
Cleans and paints housings/3rd members for carry out work.
Identifies, inspect, cleans, and shelves used parts as directed.
Keeps shop clean and orderly. Keeps work areas stocked with supplies (i.e. paints, brake-cleaner, rags, grease, oil, grinding/sanding tools, etc).
Assists with the loading and unloading of differentials, third members, and axles into and out of vehicles.

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Related additional technical training preferred.
Valid Washington State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Understanding of automotive drive train fundamentals preferred.
Physical requirements:

Must be able walk, stand, bend, stretch and stoop, and to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Job involves considerable physical activity throughout the work day.
