According to Statistic Brain, 78 percent of individuals will develop at least one cavity before turning 18.
Queen Square Dental Clinic is a practice that’s dedicated to encouraging the best possible dental care for everyone in our community. Poor dental hygiene is an issue that affects people throughout our society, and many individuals fail to secure the expert dental care that can help prevent problems like gum disease and cavities. Because we see the effects of inadequate dental health every day, we’ve established a scholarship contest in order to promote better dental and oral hygiene. We want to spread the word about good dental health. The person who wins the contest receives a $1,000 scholarship to help meet the cost of higher education.
The contest is open to any high school senior and any student accepted into or enrolled at a university, college, or trade school.
Contestants will need to write an essay describing their good daily dental hygiene habits. The value of these habits to others should be made clear, and their benefits should be described thoroughly.
How Are Essays Judged?
We will consider each essay based on both its accuracy regarding dental health and its overall creativity.
