Students win GOLD at Skills USA State Competition

Students from the Aerospace Manufacturing, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Diesel Power Technology and Precision Machining classes competed in the Skills USA state competition in Everett and Yakima WA this spring.  Congratulations to the following students who won gold medals!

Joshua Thompson – Cosmetology student won the overall Cosmetology competition.

McKenzie Budrow – Diesel Power Technology student won in the Diesel Equipment Technology category.

Robert Knight  – Precision Machining student won in the CNC Technician category which is a combination category of CNC Turning and Milling.

Christian Gray – Precision Machining student won in the  CNC Turning category.

Joseph Dunham – Precision Machining student won in the CNC Milling category.

Max Ackerman – Precision Machining student won in the Manual Precision Machining category.

Caithlyn Angel – Aerospace Manufacturing Technology student won in the Aircraft Maintenance Technology category.

Logan Beck – Aerospace Manufacturing Technology student won for Aircraft Assembler.

 

All of these students will be advancing to the Skills USA National Competition in June. Stay tuned to see how well they do!
