Hi, I am Isabel Espino, teacher for the Translation and Interpretation Program here at Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center. I have over 20 years of experience working as a Translator/Interpreter in many different fields, including medical, legal, social and community interpreting; and translating many different types of documents and literature. I also worked for several years as a Para-Educator and Interpreter in the Everett School District, assisting students in the ELL Department.
If you have native fluency in a language other than English and enjoy helping people understand one another, then you may have what it takes for a career using your heritage language. Let me show you the career possibilities that fluency in a second language can bring you! To take this class, you must be bilingual, and all languages are welcome. I would love to see you in our classroom!
