Job Description

Advocate One is hiring for an IT Technician.

The IT Technician will be responsible for providing in-person and remote services to our clients from the office. They will serve as primary support in resolving client issues, including but not limited to troubleshooting software and hardware issues, replacing hardware, and modifying configurations. Upon completion of each ticket, technicians are required to submit clear and concise notes about what was required to resolve the client’s issue.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional demeanor with a focus on a positive customer service experience
• Basic knowledge of networking infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Applications, VPN, remote access
• Solid ability to communicate effectively with customers that have limited knowledge of computer systems.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to drive between multiple locations daily as necessary
• Experience with basic tools
• Flexibility to work after hours occasionally as needed by clients
• One year of experience or at least one current certification in IT related field
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in IT or IT related Field
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Current Certification A+, Network+, ECT.
