Luma Technologies is a small family owned/operated Aerospace company that manufactures LED Display Panels and switches for various Aircraft. We are seeking a full-time 40/hr per week position as an electronic technician. Technician. You will work with our team as the primary focal performing minor circuit board level troubleshooting, repair, rework of LED Display Panels down to the component level. Primarily solid-state LEDs driven by 28vdc/ground apply sources with some PLD applications as well. The candidate should have a high level of electronic theory (Electronic Technician degree preferred) along with proficiency with SMT solder and troubleshooting experience. Following detailed instructions and document work performed are a must. The candidate should be a hands-on problem solver with the capacity to quickly grasp and resolve technical problems with minimal support (once trained) and should be capable of solving real-world problems in the simplest and most cost-effective way. May assist in general assembly, test, and repair of aerospace LED Panels when not performing SMT support work. Once trained and up to speed, you can expect to perform a variety of different manufacturing processes on any given day as opposed to the same repetitive thing day after day.
Electronics Technician Degree (Preferred)
Certificate in SMT soldering techniques (Will provide retraining as applicable)
Production Assembly of Aerospace grade products
Experience with basic circuit design & electronic components
Experience troubleshooting and adjusting LED lighting
Experience with MS Office suites
Working knowledge of ESD controls
Experience with basic hand tools
Experience working in ISO/AS9100 company environment and adhering to Company Quality System.
Strong grasp of both analogue and digital electronics operation and theory
Strong Communications Skills.
Highly motivated, proactive individual with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
