Companion Caregiver

Right at Home Snohomish County Step into Care Program

Companion Caregivers have the option after their initial 90-days to either remain providing companion care or have the option to progress to study for their HCA or CNA license with the support of the company. We can provide you with all the information at interview.

Compensation & Benefits:

· Competitive pay $18.00-$20.00 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with daily living needs offering companionship care

· Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand

· Prepare a home cooked meal.

· Perform light housekeeping.

· A Companion Caregiver will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services.

Qualifications and Requirements for Caregiver:
Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US
CPR/FA or be willing to complete
Food Handlers Card or be willing to complete
Hold a current valid driver license
Covid Vaccine Card
GED or High School Diploma
Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Test
The Companion Caregiver shall have successfully completed a written Competency Evaluation.
Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job
Companion Caregiver must be able to lift at least 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
