An Entry Level Machinist shall be learning to complete a variety of uncomplicated assemblies, CNC milling, CNC lathe turning, manual machining, and deburring assignments while running proven programs. Will be working with constant technical instruction. Some blueprint reading skills and a general understanding of machining, turning and assembly best practices is required.
Capable (with some assistance) of completing work assignments when given the following:
Standard work plans
Details parts PCM’s
Assembly: Capable (with some assistance) of setting up and performing a wide range of uncomplicated assembly processes:
Bonding details together
CNC Milling: Capable (with some assistance) of running uncomplicated 3rd axis parts with proven programs:
Replacing cutters and inserts
Capable (with some assistance) of performing uncomplicated machining processes:
CNC Lathes: Capable (with some assistance) of setting up and running uncomplicated parts with proven programs:
Manual Machining: Capable of laying out uncomplicated jobs (with some assistance) while running manual machines making simple parts using:
Deburr: Capable of independently setting up and completing uncomplicated deburr processes:
Blending out cutter transitions
Using scotchbrite and buffing wheels
Capable of independently using a wide range of deburr tools:
90° Angle Grinders
Capable of laying out and checking parts using measurement equipment:
Indicating Run Out
Is learning how to determine the correct cutter feeds, speeds, and chip loads
Capable of completing necessary manufacturing paperwork
Maintain organized work area
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate of completion, or demonstrated ability to perform job duties as defined.
Previous mechanical or manufacturing experience preferred.

Scheduled/Shift: Day shift is Mon – Thu 5am – 3:30pm (Full-time)
Evening shift Mon – Thu 3:20pm – 1:50am (Full-time)
