Hello future Pharmacy Technicians!

I joined Sno-Isle TECH in 2023, with over 30 years of Pharmacy Technician experience. I started my pharmacy journey at a small hospital in Yakima, where I learned about medication management and how to mix IV medications. In 1995, I moved to Seattle and worked at a Retail Pharmacy chain for a few years, serving patients and building relationships with them. My next career move, I joined Walgreen Specialty Pharmacy on Capitol Hill in Seattle, where I helped patients manage and adhere to expensive HIV, Transplant and Oncology medications. Specialty Pharmacy was a great adventure, and I learned about specialty medications, how to support patients taking those medications, and how to maintain an expensive inventory. In 2014, I joined Bartell Drugs where I helped manage the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) relationships and contracts. I also built relationships and supported Pharmacy Technicians at the Bartell Pharmacy locations. This experience gave me a high-level view of how important community pharmacies, like Bartells, are in supporting patients’ health and well-being.  Pharmacy continues to be the most trusted and most accessible healthcare setting.

I’m so excited to have the opportunity to share my pharmacy knowledge with you and get you ready for an outstanding pharmacy experience in whatever setting is best for you!
